Family reunion in Texas at Ted & Elaine's new home. Being February, this was the perfect temperatures to visit! It was like being in Idaho June temps and the kids were "so schwety!"
The older kids got wild in the evenings with their Dads.
Ryan and Joseph fought off the attacks of Blake, Addie, Blaire, Eben, & Asher.
Ted, Megan & Bryn
The days were just a little exhausting....
Uncle Gabe with Blaire, Arwen, Samuel, Addie and Blake.
Blake and Asher were cute little buds this trip.
Anna and I
Anna and Samuel
Blaire and Addie were fast friends!
They even got to have a little sleepover our last night in Texas.
Nighttime picnic while the boys roughhoused inside!
We celebrated Samuel's 3rd birthday two weeks early!
Grandpa brought boxes for the kids to make forts with! It was a nice hiding place from the sun!!
Anna is expecting her 3rd baby in June! She made Samuel's cake.
Ted & Elaine, Merrie, Joseph, myself, Anna (5 mos pregnant) holding Arwen 1.5 , Matthew, Lauren (4 mos pregnant) holding Elyse 3, Jeremiah, Ryan & Megan. Kiddos from left to right: Addie 7, Blaire 6, Eben 5, Blake 9 with Asher 4 in front, Samuel 3 to the left, and Bryn 2.

One of the days, we went into the city to take the kids to the Alamo and do the RiverWalk downtown. We had done this in 2018 when Joseph graduated Basic Training, but the kids had very little to memory of being there.
Joseph and I enjoyed having "Older Children" for this trip! A strange place to be in when your 9&6 year olds are some of the oldest grandkids and are fairly independant!!
Blake and Asher walked the river together!
Blake & Blaire
At the Alamo. Daddy bought the kids a snow globe.
Blaire claimed it for herself since Blake had only wanted guns and army men!
Uncle Matt, Blake & Blaire
"Mom do we have to take this picture? It's too hot to smile."

Dinner at the RiverWalk
We thought it funny that the restaurant staff kept coming out during our meal to shoo the birds away by waving a broom in the air! Blaire enjoyed feeding the birds until we saw the sign that said, "DON'T FEED THE BIRDS!"
Addie & Auntie Merrie
Matthew, Ted, Joseph, and Ryan helping to set up forms for gardening out in the yard
The girls took a walk around the way. Addie found a butterfly and was able to gently pick it up!
A fun trip! Blake nearly cried when our plane landed in Boise. He missed his cousins already!
