Blake's First Snow Experience.

October 27th, 2014
While in Weed for the weekend, Ryan took us all up the mountain to the snow.

Joseph rolled a big ball of snow and put it on the top of our truck.

This was Blake's first time at the snow and he wasn't quite sure what to think about it!

After the adults threw snowballs down eachother's back, Blake was willing to touch the snow!

It didn't take long for it to roll off once we started driving.

Uncle Ryry took Blake for a little walk to get him away from Moma. Blake was being too clingy to enjoy his time !

Mom & Ryan. They joked about having "asian eyes."

Our view from the road.

Enjoying the sights from way up there!

A little bit down the mountain, there were some plaque boards describing the avalanche that occurred about... 20? years ago.

After the snow we went to a lake a few miles away.

It was larger than the lake I'd seen at Sierra City in July.

The water was just as clear though. You could see rocks and logs quite a ways out! In the distance we could hear a waterfall, but it was too far to walk to.

Blake enjoyed throwing rocks into the water. Papa was watching him and let him walk into the water with his tennis shoes on! By the time we finished looking around and got to the truck, Blake's toes were extremely cold!!

My boys in plaid.

Looking around the grounds.

Our view of Mt. Shasta as we left Ryan & Dora's house that evening.
