Moments of Our Days

Checking on our little strawberry patch. I got to pull some weeds and trim dead stems from our plants.

Ashley is working dispatch for the county in the next city over. She set up a field trip for our kids in the homeschooling groups. I think we had 10 kids join in for the trip! My kids enjoyed seeing where their Auntie works.

After the fieldtrip, we gathered at the park for lunch. Mom was babysitting and brought the boys over. We didn't get to stay very long because a cold front moved in and quickly brought rain and wind!

While putting dishes away Blaire found the 'home' symbol on my mug from college.

Mellie caught a bird and tried to bring it into the house. Sometimes she is successful, but thankfully this time she wasn't. The bird was still alive!

Blaire wants to learn cursive. She wrote a 'g' like this and came running to tell me she had written her first cursive g!

Mini field trip. Daddy let us know that he was going to be clearing the hydrants and so we went out to watch!

Of course, the day we wanted to see the water spray, it started raining without warning. Blaire hadn't brought a jacket so Blake shared with her.
