A friend of ours joined the kids and I for a day at the orchards for picking peaches! I'm looking for an Apple Hill alternative, and this might just be good enough! We had a picnic and then the kids got to play with the rope swing. We went out to the fields to pick peaches and they were perfectly sweet and ready to be picked! Before too long, the kids were getting more and more itchy. We had the boys take off their shirts so we could rinse them with cold water. The peach fuzz floating around the fields caused the boys to be super super itchy! We learned that next year we will need to wear long loose sleeves and bring extra clothes to change into and lots of water to rinse off with!!
