Blaire turned 8! Auntie Rhonda bought her a pretty dress and she got to have her birthday pictures taken in it!
She decorated the majority of her cake. Vanilla cake with chocolate icing and rose candles from Auntie on top and finished with red, white, and blue sprinkles!
Blake was able to light the candles. Who knows how many he lit. He was afraid of the flame coming back to his finger, so as he lit the candle and pulled back to blow out the match, he would blow out the freshly lit candles too! It was quite amusing to watch. Finally, he did get all the candles lit without burning his little paws!
Papa, Grama, and Auntie Ash came over for cake and presents. Papa bought Blaire a huge box of Skittles, one of her favorite candies.

After presents and cake, we had some friends over for S'mores. We had a small fire out back and hung out there til dark! Once everyone left, the 4 of us played Corn Hole in the driveway with the little bit of garage light showing.
Dang she was gonna murder that cake with the knife!! Haha!
