Our Hospital Adventure

Papa Cuddles

Papa comforting Blake when the nurse walked in

Removing the boards that held his hands straight. The boards kept his hands straight so the IV wouldn't get move around in his hand. We asked the nurse to put shorter boards on since these ones were up to his elbows and would dig into his arm when he bent his elbow. I'm sure that moving the boards to cut the tapes was moving the IV and hurting him.

Papa held Blake while we walked the halls. I pushed the IV stand since he was hooked up to some dextrose.

Baby exhausted

First time walking in 3 full days. He was a little unstable and didn't walk more than a few steps.

Walking with daddy. They found the flowers on the wall and went to see them closer!

My Beautiful Blessing!

Not feeling well and very tired at this time.

Blake was pointing at the Hot Air Balloon stickers on the ceiling tiles!

Having an IV in both hands is not pleasant.
He is such a little trooper!
Maybe he will be a doctor when he is older =)

Since being in the hospital, he has started saying, "Dada!"

Daddy helping Blake eat dinner.
Because of his hands being immobile for a few days, his ability to grab things has diminished.
He is also unstable on his feet and walks differently.
I'm keeping close at hand when he walks =)
Looks like we will do little exercises when we get home!
A.K.A. walking to the mailbox =)
