Daddy Time

Joseph is taking this morning to change the oil in my truck. As soon as he went outside after breakfast, Blake opened the door, asked for permission, and ran out to the curb. Joseph is working under the hood and Blake is standing in the driver seat making his car noises, playing with the steering wheel, "Shifting" and hitting the radio buttons. That's how he sees us drive! He loves to spend time with his daddy, especially if he gets to drive. Sometimes when we are outside as Joseph drives up the street on his way home from work, Blake will run down 2-3 house lengths and meet him. Joseph will let him in for a ride or Blake will sit on his lap and "drive" home! He loves it!

Since Blake turned 2, Joseph has been his favorite between Moma and Daddy. I think he is in the 'Daddy Idol' stage =) It's so cute to watch Blake right on Joseph's heels!

This is a fantastic time in life! Everyday is something new.

Blake is at the screen door asking if he can play in the "duh-t" (dirt).

He likes to dig right beside our walkway. I plan to have Joseph buy him a bag of nice dirt to spread around the bushes area. That way Blake has a nice bigger area to play in!
