Ted
and Elaine came to visit at the end of August through the first few
days of September. They headed north to visit friends, then came back
our way for another day. Ted helped Joseph with siding work and they
made great progress! They arrived on a Wednesday evening and were able to see Blaire playing soccer down in Cascade. September is the month for soccer and we were busy 3 evenings a week with that!
The weekend that they were here was our annual 'Ice Cream Social' in Roseberry. I was asked to help with the show by teaching how to hand quilt! My quilts were displayed at the front of the church and a quilting frame was set up which allowed for 3 quilters at a time! It was only about 3-4 hours, but it was quite enjoyable. I was very glad to be part of the event!

She made a playdough cake!
My quilt, pieced by Aunt Betty and given to me by Grama Dorothy, was placed center stage. Mom's hand quilt was there on the left. It was so neat to have them side by side to be able to see the difference between quilter's stitches! My wedding quilt was on a small hoop in the front right to show the different modes of quilting.
Blaire started violin lessons this month and Daddy was having fun playing around with it too!
