I got home last night from being in Stonyford for 9 days.
I was greeted by the "Elephants in my attic" and by the neighbors screaming at the kids all today. =(
I miss the peace and quiet of being in Stonyford.
I love being able to open the windows, let the sunlight in, and hear nothing except the wind and the birds!
As we drive through Vacaville, I felt like I had entered a huge city and the number of people driving around was overwhelming.
I walked into my apartment and felt no relief of returning.
I could have turned around right then and driven back up the mountain!
