Marriage Adventures: Bucket List One By One

 This month has been quite roasting. We haven't spent any time at the river like we did last year. Here are some pretty pictures.

One weekend, Mom took the kids for a night. Joseph and I went exploring and ended up on a mountain biking trail and had to turn around before we knocked any more trees out with our bumper and wheels. It was a tight path! The sun was setting and we were looking for an overnight camping spot! We ended up driving about a half hour south of home and parking in a little treed area by some other camping trailers. When we woke in the morning, we realized we should have parked a little east of our spot to keep the sun from waking us up at a decent hour! It was a nice little get away though. We put a foam mattress in the back of my truck and made sure the ipad was charged so we could watch a marvel movie.

Blake came into the room just now and read my entry, exclaiming that he wanted to go on an adventure like this too! We did it without him and we even had a comfy bed! The boy is jealous!!!
