With Blake being so interested in military history, we took him to tour the USS Hornet in Alameda. It was a perfect beautiful day to go. We got to tour the ship on our own for a while then we took a tour with a guide into the "Island" and see where the upper ops happen. Early in the afternoon we were able to stand on the flight deck while 13 small airplanes did a special fly over for Veteran's Day Weekend. That was pretty neat to be standing on the deck while they went over!
